Grey-scale of time

Time.
We all have a bunch. Or a little. Based on perspective.
My opinion is that how you choose to use your time is tied into your core being. I understand that while this may not be everyone view, it is my bloggity and is full of my assertions. So. Read on. I continue to consume a small part of your time in showing what I observe, and listen and watch and realize as I troop around on this big blue marble. Gifts of Knowledge

I want to be able to provide some value to the world around me besides just making things to keep you warm and me happy.

Based on my 16+ years of knitting experience and years of other arts/crafts/interests and experiences in my over 40 years, I have a few bits of goodness to share.

1) Taking a risk is good. You never know how amazing this thing is going to be until you do it. You can be smart and not take “stupid risks” that endanger your life or the lives of others, but maybe risking a new stitch idea or slapping 2 colors……

Women, artists, mothers, makers, aunties, entrepreneurs, daughters, business owners, wives, inventors… This is directed at you. And your mates. And your friends. And anyone that has dreams.

I am not terribly savvy to the land of the podcast. Still, an amazing friend that is a stunning creative turned me onto a few particular podcasts I have been listening to since about May of this year. They are basically my “driving music” now (and listening juice on sporadic runs). Might as well take that time to learn stuff and learn about my self and others doing what I want to do, right?……

I keep hearing this week “A rising tide lifts all boats” and it makes me think about doing what I can to raise the “boats” in my network. These are local makers in the Pacific Northwest that all have their own skill/ability and are sharing their talents with the world.
